National general practices sentinel surveillance system to show a general decline in the price of the consultation flu during the week until Sunday.
However, not all district health boards followed this trend, while prices are still almost three times higher than in the peak winter influenza in the passed two years.
In Taranaki, MidCentral, Wairarapa, South Canterbury, Canterbury, Otago and Southland Health Board region, there was an increase in GP consultation for influenza.
Health Ministers Tony Ryall said that it was too early to determine weather it is temporary or DIP at the beginning of a steady decline.
These figures show that in Auckland and Wellington, who have suffered, and in the early pig influenza pandemic may be waning, but that was only part of the normal fluctuations of the field, said Mr Ryall.
Pork flu confirmed that 14 people were killed, eight people with the virus when they died, but it is not yet known whether it is that they were killed, and the coroner was investigating 16 other suspicious deaths of swine flu symptoms 2009.
